It has been a fantastic six months for Carrie May, after starting the year with a win at the Folio prize for illustration, she's worked on a huge variety of projects.

Carrie has been taking the publishing world by storm this year, her versatility has seen her span all genres of fiction. She has been delighted to work on a variety of titles ranging from best-selling young adult titles to mass-market favourites.

The Telegraph commissioned Carrie to illustrate their exclusive extract of Kazuo Ishiguro's long awaited novel 'The Buried Giant'. Carrie was honoured to be asked to create artwork for the literary legend.

We love this recipe Carrie recently created. Featuring both Carrie's handcrafted typography and her mouth-watering food illustrations, this artwork is a great addition to her portfolio.

These beautiful pieces are from Carrie's latest collection with Lagom. Carrie's decorative work has been used across a range of stationary and gifts and has also attracted a great deal of interest from design clients.
