Garry Walton - Artist Spotlight

As one of the UK's leading pastiche artists Garry Walton's portfolio covers an impressive collection of styles.

Here are a few of our favourite projects, which showcase the breadth of Garry's talents.

Studio MB commissioned Garry to illustrate a 20 meter long frieze as a backdrop for the Coventry Transport Museum's exhibition on The Growth of the Motor Industry from 1918-1939. Garry worked in a retro style to create this stunning installation.

The Mythic Bestiary' published by Duncan Baird, was a dream project for Garry, he created over 20 artworks for this fabulous book. This illustrated guide to the world's most fantastical creatures saw Garry work in a huge range of styles ranging from Japanese prints to medieval etchings.

We love these artworks Garry created for 'Your Family Tree' magazine. Garry is a regular contributor to the magazine and works in an array of styles for the publication, these three artworks perfectly showcase Garry's talent for capturing a specific moment in history.

Garry recently created this striking artwork for Fabulous. Garry's take on the classic war poster, was to support the magazines article on the empowerment of women voters.

Garry was delighted to work with Creature London on Carling's global print and outdoor campaign last year. Garry was asked to create a quintessentially British illustration in pen and ink to market the lager overseas.
